a tinge of sadness
This weekend has been terrible simply because I can't get myself to do any work.I got alot of motivation after watching the release of the A'level results, but it only lasts for like a week.
I'm feeling so guilty now =/
Yesterday was my second last visit to Cathleen's house.
Surprisingly, her parents are both out and her grandmother opened the door.
She's a really nice lady! (:
It was the first time I've met her.
But I could see that the kids are not very close to their grandmother.
Since their parents were not in, I didn't get the chance to break the news that next Saturday's gonna be my last visit.
I think I'll call their mum tomorrow.
Somehow I felt a tinge of sadness on the bus journey home and I got abit surpried.
Even though I didn't really learn or gain much from mentoring, the kids made me really happy (:
It was still a pretty nice experience although there were times when Cathleen got really naughty.
That''s the price to pay for being too soft on her.
oh well.
And I doubt Cathleen learn anything much about English too, except for the handicrafts that I've taught her.
Nevertheless, I still hope that I've enriched their childhood, haha.
I'm looking forward to badminton for P.E. tml :D
