THAT THING ABOUT NUMBERS

It dawned upon me today that nineteen seems like a really big number. The difference between eighteen and nineteen is quite significant. I’m referring to age here. Being nineteen is like taking one step into adulthood. It came to my realization during a random chat with my colleague at lunch. She was asking me about my cousin who’s going to join us for two months on the 12th and I told her she’s twenty this year. You could say that I ‘grew up’ with this cousin of mine, so I don’t actually realize she’s actually a big girl now. Or maybe I’m not used to ages beginning with a two in front. I still remember how excited I was when I reached my tenth birthday because there are two digits in my age. At that age, I always think of being grown up & how it'll be like. Time flies and it will soon be my twentieth year on planet earth. And I still don't feel like I'm entering adulthood, haha. Or rather, I don't feel like one :p
I think I’m thinking too much again. Every stage in life is a brand new experience (:
Anyway, MOE shortlisted me for an interview. But I’m not very eager about it.
