Last weekend I met my childhood best friend at bugis with her boyfriend.
And she ABSOLUTELY forgot the fact that I was from jc.
She thought I just graduated from polytechnic.
I wonder what happened to those times when we happened to meet each other at the bus stop after school.
I was quite incredulous.
Maybe she got misled by the fact that I’m signing up for uni with my sis.
Lol.
Took three days off from work in two weeks because of my swollen left eye.
Colleagues at work have been asking me about my eye & giving random advices like staying away from eggs and seafood (both are my fav! haha).
And it’s a wonder how news can spread in the office, lol.
I am still irritated by the fact that people obviously dislike me for giving them work.
It’s what I have to do and it’s so not up to me can.
As if I like approaching them.
And it’s their job to do it anyway.
My tuition kid is a headache.
Sometimes I feel more like a babysitter for reminding her to study for her tests, asking her to bring her books home, finish her hw etc. etc.
She doesn’t really listen to most of my advices anyway.
I explain letters to her dad occasionally too.
And it’s tiring to have to put on a stern front every time.
There was this time when her dad called me up to her house at 11 plus pm to look at her maths test which she failed.
Sigh.
I wonder where all those practices went.
Uni application is another headache for now.
Weekends are still the best!
I can eat all three meals slowly, haha.
I love Friday nights and Saturdays (:
