Yesterday was officially the last day.
And unexpectedly, I felt a kind of reluctance.
Though there are times when the going gets really tough, I’ll still miss those people whom I’ve grown familiar with over the past half year.
The jokes, the chats, the lunches and the kindness sometimes…
Thinking that I probably would never see them again makes me kind of sad.
Despite any unhappiness that happened, I’m still glad that I took on this job, saw what the real working life is like, seen retrenchment, learned to accept and adapt, knew people, faced tough times, survived it and asked people about their life, haha.
Most importantly I gained that little bit of confidence knowing that I’ve been a pretty good help and being appreciated.
It’s bittersweet.
Though I really hated waking up in the mornings to report to work, I need time to get used to not going to the office, lol.
It’s weird how things always turn out.
